Alfredo Plot was born in La Plata, Argentina where he received an MFA in Fine Arts, specializing in drawing, painting and mural painting. He has had numerous solo and group shows in Argentina and internationally including Centro Recoleta and Museo de Bellas Artes (Provincia de Buenos Aires) in Argentina; Museo Epeo di Nocara in Italy; Galería Can Fabra in Spain; Lite Haus Gallery in Berlin.
In addition to painting and drawing, Alfredo has realized over twenty murals, commissioned by private individuals, institutions, and the state of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Alfredo is the recipient of numerous awards for his murals and paintings from institutions such as “Salón Nacional de Pintura” and “Fondo Nacional de las Artes”, which, in conjunction with the Italian Embassy, awarded him a fellowship to study murals in Italy for one year (2001-2002).
Since moving to New York City, Alfredo has been focusing on painting and drawing, and has been included in several shows in NYC galleries including Perry Rubenstein Gallery, and Vaudville Park Gallery. Alfredo participated in NYFA Mentoring Program in 2013.
